Over the last month, the team pushed a substantial testnet upgrade, on-boarded new Lilypad teammates, and planned the Lilypad incentivized testnet launch!
We are thrilled to announce the next phase in our testnet development, the Milky Way v3 testnet! The launch of v3 brings improved reliability and additional functionality to tune models like Stable Diffusion and Stable Diffusion Video. See Milky Way reference and examples for info on running a node or adding models to run on Lilypad.

⚒️ Lilypad v3 'Milky Way' Testnet
v3 brings the Lilypad Network a large step closer to the launch of our incentivized testnet! As the network processes larger workloads, v3 helps to optimize job processing and increase the scope of what can be done with a model on Lilypad. As the network grows, more functionality has been added to run on this added capacity.
Why is Lilypad v3 called the Milky Way? Just as the Milky Way, our home galaxy, stretches across the vast Australian night sky, Lilypad's latest version aims to expand the possibilities of decentralized computing. The Milky Way is a dazzling band of stars that shines brightest in the Australian night sky. v3 was built by our Aussie team, so Milky Way is a fitting name choice for our latest release.
Lilypad now supports a variety of samplers and options to enhance models like Stable Diffusion and Stable Diffusion Video! See Milky Way Reference and Examples in the docs to learn more about tuning model outputs, adding new models to run on Lilypad, and running a Lilypad node.
Contact us and sign up here to contribute GPU compute capacity to the Lilypad incentivized testnet. This phase will launch in mid May 2024. More info on testnet phases and rewards coming soon!
